Lauren Scharhag
Lauren Scharhag is descended from murderers, border jumpers, bootleggers, artists and brujas. She is the author of fourteen books, including Requiem for a Robot Dog (Cajun Mutt Press) and Languages, First and Last (Cyberwit Press). Her work has appeared in over 150 literary venues around the world. She is the recipient of the Gerard Manley Hopkins Award, the Door is Ajar Award, and the Seamus Burns Creative Writing Prize for poetry, as well as a fellowship from Rockhurst University for fiction. Her work has received multiple Best of the Net nominations, and has been accepted into the 2021 Antarctic Poetry Exhibition. She lives in Kansas City, MO.
