Katie Vagnino is a poet, freelance writer, and educator. A recent transplant to the Twin Cities, she earned her MFA from Emerson College, and has taught creative writing at the Loft Literary Center and UW-Eau Claire. Her work has been published in the Star Tribune, the St. Paul Almanac, Measure, and Poetry City USA, and has been featured on public transit. When not teaching or writing, she can be found performing with her Eau Claire-based blues/rock band, the Flaming Doublewides.
