A teacher and poet, Donna Isaac holds degrees from James Madison University, Va. (B.A. English); the University of Minnesota (M.A. English); and Hamline University (M.F.A. creative writing) and has published two chapbooks, Tommy (Red Dragonfly Press) and Holy Comforter (Red Bird Chapbooks). Her poetry has appeared in various literary magazines, including Crosswinds Poetry Journal, The Saint Paul Almanac, Pine Mountain Sand & Gravel, and Shark Reef. A new collection of poetry by Pocahontas Press is due winter 2018. She has worked with Cracked Walnut since its founding and is a member of the League of Minnesota Poets.
