Dawn Tomlinson
Dawn Tomlinson. Korean adoptee, born after the war to a Korean mother and a GI father, Dawn has spent the past several years involved in rediscovering her roots in the small villages near the DMZ. She has studied Bojagi (Korean quilting) and Samulnori (Korean drumming) in Korea, as well as traveled to Korea on adoptee tours. Locally, Dawn is the President of AdopSource, a non-profit; their documentary, Candid Conversations on Adoption, was produced in 2014. She has also served on the board of several organizations, including KAWA, MAKA, Camp Choson, and Korean Heritage House. She is also part of the local drumming group Shinparam and has written articles for Korean Quarterly.
